There’s a brand-new luxury wedding venue in Minnesota, and it’s already stealing the show: Woodland Glasshaus at Bavaria Downs. A Woodland Glasshaus wedding offers a breathtaking blend of sleek design and woodland charm, making it one of the most unique and stylish venues in the Twin Cities. Nestled among the trees and filled with light, this venue is unlike anything else in the state!
From the moment you arrive, it’s clear that Woodland Glasshaus is not your average venue. Jenna, a member of the Bavaria Downs team, described it best when she called it, “a secret in the woods with chic vacation restaurant vibes.” It’s easy to see why couples (and vendors *cough guilty cough*) are already falling in love with the space and it’s potential!
Ceremonies take place in Atrium One—a light-filled glass structure that gives the feeling of being outdoors while remaining protected from the elements. Afterwards, that space is transformed for dancing, complete with a bar, DJ booth, high-top tables, and lounge seating. While the flip happens, guests enjoy cocktails on the patio before moving into Atrium Two for dinner. This is just my opinion. but the dining atrium may be even more stunning than the ceremony space. It features a show-stopping bar and permanent chandeliers that twinkle like a fairytale at night.
Having two atriums, connected by a clear awning, allows a wedding day to flow beautifully from one moment to the next. This kind of seamless flow creates an enjoyable wedding day experience for couples and guests, alike.
One of the most exciting features of Woodland Glasshaus is how much is included in the rental. Items such as modern luxury chairs, wooden tables, charger plates, LED taper candles, and those jaw-dropping chandeliers.
Though Woodland Glasshaus includes so many beautiful essentials, adding personalized elements—such as draped linens, floral installations, and refined tabletop items—will make the space feel uniquely yours and elevate the overall aesthetic to something truly extraordinary.
Woodland Glasshaus can accommodate up to 200 guests, with the ideal guest count falling between 75 and 175. All ceremonies are held indoors in Atrium One, which honestly feels just like being outside (minus the weather worries) since it’s glass-encased and light floods into the space! While a dedicated vendor staging area is still being finalized, the bridal holding suite currently serves as a great spot for vendors to store gear out of sight. And yes, upscale bathrooms are permanently onsite, no rentals required.
This venue is clearly designed to create a seamless experience for both guests and vendors, all while feeling stylish, intimate, and fresh.
If you’re planning a luxury wedding in Minnesota, the Woodland Glasshaus should absolutely be on your radar. It’s romantic and refined, with a totally distinctive atmosphere that’s hard to replicate. Between the glass architecture, thoughtful design inclusions, and fairy-tale lighting, this venue offers a one-of-a-kind canvas for couples who want to wow their guests and celebrate in true modern elegance! It’s the perfect addition to the other Bavaria Downs venues (The Edward Anne Estate and Equestria West)!!
What excites me most about Woodland Glasshaus is that there’s truly nothing else like it in the state. I can’t wait to photograph my first full wedding day here! If you’re planning your own Woodland Glasshaus wedding, I’d love to help you document it with heart, style, and intention. Just shoot me an email and we’ll start dreaming together. This space is a dream and I’m already envisioning the magic we could create together here!
