When I think of Marie and Stephen’s Dellwood Barn wedding, the word that comes to mind is laughter. I don’t think my face muscles have ever been so sore from smiling so much! And you can see what I mean…in nearly every photo Marie, Stephen, and their guests have the BIGGEST grind on their faces!

Marie and Stephen are the PERFECT couple. I knew this the moment I met them nearly two years ago and it was solidified further at their engagement session last fall. Their laughs are infections, their humor is on point, and they are so giving to their friends and family. I always aspire to be good friends with my couples and I feel like I won the jackpot with these two…they’re the kind of people I could call up and say, “Whatchya up to? Want to get a drink?” and they’d say, “Heck yeah!”

This spectacular duo didn’t even let the rain stop their merriment. They came fully prepared with rainboots and umbrellas (I think they took my advice really well). And I kind of think it was because they were such troopers that the weather gods decided to let the sun come out for a bit so we could take a few more photos outside before the sun set.

I always try to mention at least one favorite moment from my couples’ weddings but there were so many gems during Marie and Stephen’s. From the matching flannel bridesmaids shirts to the surprise flash mob at the reception, Marie and Stephen’s wedding was PURE GOLD!!

I adore this couple more than I can say. I can’t wait to see what life has in store for them and I can’t WAIT to work with them for years to come!!
