When my couples request a specific place to take their engagement photos I immediately say “HECK YEAH!” and then ask about the significance of that location. For Jenny and Fuchie, Parkers Lake Park in Plymouth, MN was the spot where they had their first official date. So naturally, I bawled my eyes out and then agreed to meet them there on an early morning in the beginning of May.

As the story goes, Fuchie asked if Jenny wanted to go on a walk around the lake. What he didn’t know was Jenny, along with her dog who was in tow for their date, don’t really like walking too much. But she liked him so much that she agreed and “made it pretty far” (their words).

Since that first date, they’ve been expanding their horizons together – the true sign of a great relationship. They laughed and laughed as we took their engagement photos and as you can see they’re pretty darn cute together.

Their wedding next May is going to be one for the books and I for one can’t wait! 🙂
