Have you been to Madeline Island? Before Katie and Matt’s adventure couple session (which turned into a proposal session!!!) I would have said, “No but I really really want to.”

And let me tell ya…this will NOT be the last time I make it to that beautiful island!

The cliff views are breath-taking, Lake Superior is beautiful (I mean…we knew this before but it bears repeating), and the flora smells so freaking good! We even saw a bear while driving to our second shooting location. A BEAR! That may not be super exciting to some but this city girl was excited to see some wildlife in action.

We started Katie and Matt’s adventure couple session on the cliffs above Lake Superior. From there, we went to Big Bay Town Park for a picnic and a HUGE surprise. Matt proposed with a beautifully written, heartfelt note. And yeah…Katie said yes!

I have to say, I freaking love this “job” of mine. Capturing big moments and emotions like this is something I’ll never tire of! So…if you want to go for your own adventure photography session, to Madeline Island or another destination, I know a girl who’d be more than willing to go with you and be your professional third wheel. 😉
