Talk about kindred souls. Lisa and James are truly, and wholeheartedly, made for each other.

I know I’m a sap for love stories and my life’s mission is to make people happy but I was absurdly stoked when Lisa said she wanted my team to be her and James’ wedding and engagement photographer. Like…I think I jumped up and down because not only is their love is the sweetest thing on this earth but I also felt a sisterly connection with Lisa when we met at the Wedding Fair at the Minneapolis Convention Center in October.

I always ask our couples if there’s a particular vibe they want for their engagement photos. Initially they wanted a location in Eden Prairie but we landed Richardson Nature Center in Bloomington, MN since it was their home.

And y’all…I think I’ve found my new favorite portrait session spot.

Lisa, James, their pup Sable and I had so much fun playing at their engagement session and I know we’re gonna have 1000 times more fun at their wedding!
