Everything about this styled shoot was magic. Ok, maybe not the car crash my second shooter and I were in that totaled my poor Jetta whilst on our way home from the shoot…but everything else was pure magic!

Kelly, from Big Rock Creek, approached me about a year ago with the idea of putting together a styled shoot for their new venue in St. Croix Falls. We kept trying to find a time that worked for our schedules but with busy season keeping us both, well, busy, we decided to wait and do a winter styled shoot. And as the old saying goes, the best things in life are worth waiting for, and this shoot was certainly proof of that.

With the help of our spunky planners, Dos Goats Plans, the vision came together and the A+ team assembled.

With winter weddings gaining popularity, we think this shoot will help inspire couples to embrace the cold weather months and show how beautiful winter in the Midwest can be!
