Towards the beginning of the pandemic, wedding planner Hailey of Essen Events and I exchanged emails about how my wedding plans were changing. My now husband and I intended to get married in Ireland and were looking forward to having a European adventure…all of which obviously didn’t happen.
As a fellow bride in the beginning stages of her own wedding planning, Hailey talked about how she was also drawn to the European wedding aesthetic and how cruddy it was that brides in 2020 and 2021 wouldn’t be able to live out their destination wedding dreams.
And that got us thinking: is there a way to bring Europe to us?
Our answer was obviously “Heck yeah!” and we put together the vision and a bomb-ass team of vendors to show that it could be done.
