I met Jocelyn about two years ago. Her mom and her mom’s fiancé hired me for their wedding photography and before the big day, we got together to take family photos of their blended family. When her mom emailed me and said they wanted to schedule Jocelyn’s Minneapolis senior pictures, I couldn’t believe it. Time had flown!!

Jocelyn is a Class of 2022 senior at Monticello High School and she decided she wanted to take her senior photos in the North Loop of Minneapolis. Naturally, I was pumped. The city is so cool with all of the colors and textures and is lovely for senior portraits. However, it can also be challenging. That’s why we hopped on a Zoom call to go over her outfits so her clothing wouldn’t compete with the backgrounds of the city.

It’s hard for me to pick which outfit was my favorite. I absolutely adore her brown boots (I may have jokingly threatened I’d steal them…they’re safely still in her possession). And I love how she paired them with two of her outfits. Her second outfit screamed “I’m a sweet badass and you’re gonna have to deal with it.” That vibe is Jocelyn to a T!
