B and T’s Fall Duxbury wedding was a beautiful, albeit rainy day. Photographed for my pal Stephanie’s brand, I got to explore Boston’s south shore whilst spending quality time with a ton of lovely people.
Our day started with T and his side of the wedding party as they got ready at the couple’s house just outside of Duxbury, MA. Because the couple elected to wait to until the ceremony to see each other, our morning was pretty relaxed. We began photographing B’s groom details before moving on to take photos of him getting into his wedding duds.
I loved how the couple played with the coastal theme of their wedding. From the classic blue and white stripes of their wedding invitations to the raw bar at their reception, every design element of their wedding was cohesive. As a lover of design and excellent story telling, that was pure gold!
Even the weather was on theme. I mean, New England’s weather is unpredictable at the best of times but never more so than in the late fall. And when you think coastal New England fall, you can’t help but think of wind and droplets of rain.
A little mist and cold were no match for B, T, and their wedding party’s sunny disposition. Their smiles never faded and the laughs never ceased. And truthfully, who could be sour when they just married the love of their life? Throw in some yummy food (hello sushi and the best oysters I’ve ever had), delectable drinks, and a live band and you’ll always have a happy crowd!
