Simer and Jake’s private estate wedding in New Hampshire perfectly blended timeless elegance, East Coast charm, and heartfelt hospitality. Set against the stunning backdrop of Jake’s childhood home in North Hampton, New Hampshire, their wedding weekend was thoughtfully designed to create an unforgettable experience for their guests.

Jake and his groomsmen got ready at his parents’ estate, a beautiful two-story residence with a separate pool house that was an ideal backdrop for their private home wedding venue. Simer, her mother, and her bridesmaids prepped at Wentworth By The Sea Hotel, just across the water from where they celebrated the night before.

Opting for a traditional approach, Simer and Jake saved their first look for the ceremony, building anticipation for the moment they’d finally see each other. While the reception was to be held at their private estate, the wedding ceremony was held at Wentworth By The Sea Country Club.

Jake stood beneath a breathtaking floral arch, designed by Fleur Events, as Simer, radiant in a floral lace Mira Zwillinger gown, walked down the aisle with her parents. The emotion in the air was undeniable – there wasn’t a dry eye in sight as they exchanged heartfelt vows.

As soon as they said “I Do,” I whisked them away to Bass Beach in Rye, New Hampshire for intimate coastal portraits before heading to their private home wedding venue for a reception that was as sophisticated as it was fun.

Every detail, exquisitely designed by Hummingbird Events and Design, reflected Simer and Jake’s thoughtfulness as hosts, ensuring their guests felt celebrated at every turn.

Mini golf stations and a monogrammed golf ball escort display paid homage to Jake’s love of the sport. A cigar rolling station and an array of signature cocktails elevated the evening. Beneath chandeliers and soft cream draping, guests dined in a coastal garden-inspired setting, sipping from elegant blue goblets as they toasted Simer and Jake.

As the night progressed, Boston’s premier live band, Hot Mess, brought an electric energy to the dance floor. The performers gave so much of themselves and fed off the crowd’s energy that I can honestly say it was one of the most wonderfully raucous dance floors I’ve ever witnessed.

Then, without warning, the band changed outfits and led Simer and Jake’s guests out of the reception tent. Cold sparklers lit up the sky, and a surprise after-party tent awaited guests – complete with late-night custom happy meal boxes, pizza, and more dancing. With friends and family flying in from around the world, including India, Simer and Jake’s wedding was a masterclass in hospitality and celebration.

Between the private estate setting and the carefully curated details, Simer and Jake’s wedding was the perfect balance of sophistication, warmth, and joy. And I’m positive it was a day their guests (and I!) will never forget!
