Watson Block, a new venue in the heart of Downtown Minneapolis, MN, is a very cool, very hip venue and I freaking love it!

Lexie, owner and lead planner of Availed Events, and I met with Watson Block’s staff and together we dreamt up a moody theme that would not only show off the New Orleans vibe of the venue but would also show of the versatility of our amazing vendor team (ourselves included of course lol)!

The thing I love most about Watson Block, aside from their kickass bar and infinity piano (I could get lost staring into it), is that it’s situated in an area of Downtown that has so many fantastic spots for portraits!

There are several industrial areas within walking distance to Watson Block with many different textures and colors (it’s a few blocks away from my absolute favorite spot in all of Downtown Minneapolis). Not only that but there’s also greenery and the Mississippi River close by if a couple wanted to take a quick drive to get there.
