As far as I’m concerned, engagement sessions should always – always – feel like a date. So when asked “where would you like to take your photographs?” Melissa and Jared, without skipping a beat, said “The Minnesota Zoo.”

And y’all…this is why we say to choose a spot with personal, sentimental meaning.

Melissa and Jared strolled down the halls, hand in hand, gazing at the majestic animals. We saw all of the birds, wolves, lions, and bears (oh my!). I think the brown bears sensed something special was going on when we came into their view because one of them wanted his own photo shoot. Don’t believe me? See below.
