Yall, I’m so freaking excited to finally be able to offer portrait session gift cards! I’ve wanted to offer e-gift cards for a while but I hadn’t come across software that made the process easy on both the client and seller.

That is, until now!

Starting today, clients can buy 2 hour, 1.5 hour, 1 hour, and 30 minute mini session gift cards as well as regular gift cards directly through my website! Gift cards may be bought and given as gifts (Did I just make your holiday gift giving easier? I think so!!). Or, if you’d rather use a gift card for yourself, you certainly may do that too.

How do I buy a gift card?

1. Go to my Services page and scroll down to “Gift Cards.” Click the “buy your gift cards here” button then select the gift card you’d like to buy.
2. Fill in the requested info on the form.
3. Once the form has been filled out, you’ll be able to click the “Next: Pay” button.
4. You’ll see a confirmation screen, prompting you to check your email to complete the purchase process.
5. Go to your inbox and open the email you will have just received and click Pay and Activate to complete your purchase.
6. This will open the payment screen, where you can enter your credit card info and complete the payment.
7. Finally, once you complete the payment, you’ll receive an email containing your gift card code! You’ll be able to redeem this code any time in the future. 
   • NOTE: if you buy a specific session gift card, you should use your gift card within one year of its purchase date. After a year, if the session fee has increased, the monetary value of your gift card amount will be applied towards the new session fee and you’ll owe the difference.

How do I redeem my gift card?

1. When you’re ready to redeem your gift card just shoot me an email saying you’re ready to use your gift card. Remember to send me your gift card code. 
2. If your gift card is for a specific session, let me know which one it’s for. If your gift card isn’t for a specific session, we’ll use its value and put it towards the session of your choice.
3. I’ll send over a contract proposal with the gift card code applied. If the gift card does not cover the entire session fee, you’ll also receive an invoice for the remaining balance.
4. Complete and sign your contract proposal. If applicable, submit payment for the remaining balance. Once you’ve completed this step, you’re done! 
   • If your gift card has more value on it, you’ll be able to use the remainder on another session with me in the future.

After April 30, 2020 session specific gift cards will be full price so don’t wait on buying yours. I mean, you already know you need new high school senior photos or updated family photos. Why not have a bit of green while you can?
