This may come as a surprise but I hate keeping up with social media. I don’t know if it’s because I didn’t grow up with things like Instagram or Tik Tok (I was in high school when Facebook came on the scene), or if it’s because I’m actually a pretty shy introvert…whatever the reason, showing up on social media is like pulling teeth for me.
But…it’s necessary. So, what’s my trick for social media consistency?
I use a social media content calendar and app that allows me to plan my content in advance.
There are many social media planning apps as well as content calendars available online and my favorite by far is Plann.
I initially downloaded the Plann app as a way to schedule and push out my Instagram content. The user interface was pleasant, it was super easy to use, and it didn’t cost too much (I think it was $49 a year). Back then it was only a content scheduler.
Now, a few years later, Plann is SO MUCH MORE!
The team at Plann have added so many useful features that I didn’t even know that I needed.
Features like: a desktop platform that syncs with your phone; monthly content calendars; content ideas for Instagram posts, stories, and Facebook; and as of the new year, Plann-member-only Canva templates.
All of these resources help me stay consistent with social media. And the fact that they’re all in one program is icing on the already delicious cake.
But don’t take my word for it (hmmm did I just sound like the “Reading Rainbow” guy just then?). If you want to try Plann out for yourself, here is a special $10 off code just for you!
Let me know what you think!!
