Omg you guys! I’m so happy weddings are getting more back to normal that I could cry! Angela and Nick’s Big Rock Creek WI wedding was all all I needed and more. Family, friends, beautiful scenery, farm animals, camp fires…IT. WAS. AWESOME.
Angela and Nick are so cute, too! I remembered that they were both were a little camera shy when we met to take their engagement photos last fall. But thankfully, they quickly warmed up to a camera being in their adorable faces again and we were able to create some honest-to-goodness photography magic!
Angela’s bridal details were so dainty. I loved how her pink shoes perfectly matched their wedding theme and how Nick’s classic watch and ring had refined and handsome detailing to them. Special point of interest: Nick’s wedding band was a family heirloom!
After Angela’s very special dress reveals with her bridesmaids and her dad, it was time for her and Nick’s first look. Grab a few tissues…you might need them in t-minus 10 sections.
One reason why I love Big Rock Creek WI in St. Croix Falls, WI so much is their grounds are a goldmine for amazing photographs. Even their ceremony site is stupid gorgeous! And WHAT?! They have their own firetruck?! Yeah…Angela’s dad is a firefighter and got to drive her to the ceremony in the venue’s firetruck. Most epic ceremony entrance ever!
The rest of the evening was the definition of “lovely.” It was so heartwarming to hear all of the wonderful things Angela and Nick’s family and friends had to say about them.
Angela and Nick, I honestly can’t thank you enough for the gift you’ve given me. Photographing your love was an honor and a joy!
