Another one of my dance babies is a senior! Even though Natalie isn’t my child, I feel like whenever I get to take senior photos for my former dance student’s I get a small taste of what it feels like to be a proud parent. Natalie is a sweet, kind, and beautiful girl and we wanted photos that matched. That’s why we took her Edina senior photos at my favorite local park!

As I said earlier, Natalie is a dancer. In fact, she’s a captain on the Forest Lake High School dance team (go FLDT)! She has come a long way from the quiet, somewhat shy girl I knew in the dance studio. Now, she’s a thoughtful, bold, talented, fierce young lady. And for that, I couldn’t be prouder of her!

While we were taking her photos, we talked about her plans for next year and how she hopes to go to College of St. Benedict. That’s where her mother went to college and met her dad (you guessed it…he was a Johnnie). Call me a romantic but I think it’s so sweet that Natalie wants to go to school where her parents’ love story began.
