The summer of 2021 has been the summer of photographing the weddings of former LB Bride’s sisters. And I’m all about it! Candace is the younger sister of former LB Bride Kaylin, whose wedding I photographed in 2018. Chase is the dapper man who won Candace’s heart! And their wedding at The Jerome Event Center in Delano, MN was equal parts elegant, romantic, and a crap ton of fun!!
Chase connected with me early last fall. He lives in Virginia Beach and had planned a surprise trip to Minnesota for Thanksgiving to propose to Candace and he wanted me to capture the moment for them. “Um…where do I sign up?!” was my answer. Candace and Chase’s Jerome Event Center wedding in Delano, MN was a breath of fresh air and it felt like things were getting back to normal with regards to the pandemic.
Their first look was so stinking precious! Chase was so excited to see his bride and they couldn’t stop cuddling from that moment on…and I LOVED it!
Candace and Chase’s wedding party was large in size and big in personality! Each bridesmaid and groomsman made me gut-laugh at least once during the course of the day.
Even though it was very hazy outside from the Canadian wildfire smoke, we still stepped outside to take a few “just married” photos. Can you believe that Candace told she couldn’t do the “soft model face?” Yeah, I know right? Just goes to show that while you might think you “can’t” do something, chances are you totally can and I’m going to prove it to you!
Candace and Chase, I’m so happy for you two and I’m beyond excited as you begin this new chapter of your lives!!
