Seniors

Sydney and I go WAAAAAAAAAY back. Back to the days of being in a dance studio when she was going into Jr. High. Already a beauty, with crazy dance talent to boot, I knew this gal was on the path to great things. So when it was time to take her Minneapolis senior photos, I was A) excited, B) felt old (“Syd’s a senior already!?!”), and C) did I say excited?

Even though she’s not dancing these days, I still fully believe that whatever Sydney wants to do, and sets her heart and mind to do, she’ll do it with excellence!

As the youngest of two (I took her sister Madison’s senior photos 3 years ago), Sydney is hungry to pave a new path and go into the world. She knows her mind, she knows what she’s about, and she’s not gonna stop when things get tough. All great traits for a young lady to possess, if you ask me. The apple doesn’t fall far from the tree – I’m pretty sure she gets all of her independence and strength from her mom, whom I love and with whom I’m able to talk all things Game of Thrones.

Even though the last few years have been tough – COVID-19 and interrupted school sessions were no joke these last two years – Sydney has persevered and is exited for her last year of high school. Sydney is a Class of 2022 senior at Forest Lake High School.
