I’ve been to The Olana a few times and it never ceases to amaze me. It’s a beautiful, elegant, French-inspired estate in Dallas, TX with a few drawing rooms, several fireplaces, luxurious staircases, and lush hedges. Oh yeah, and it used to be someone’s actual home. Can you even imagine living in a place like that?

What makes this French-inspired wedding inspiration editorial particularly exciting for me is how Heather Benge plays off the architecture and colors typically found in a French château throughout her design.

And when you put a handsome groom in a vibrant bright navy suit from The Modern Groom, he can’t help but take center stage. Nordi, you looked amazing! And yes yes yes, Alexia, I’m not gonna leave you out – you looked radiant in your tiered, lace gown designed by Weddings By Debbie.

Another design element that made my heart flutter was the reception decor. The way Heather played with color, against the light cream facade of The Olana allowed all of the other decor details to have their moment in the spotlight. The combination felt very chic, which is exactly what you want when looking for French-inspired wedding inspiration!
