Talk about a beautiful walk in the park! Gabby and Robert’s Brookline MA engagement session at Larz Anderson Park was everything the three of us envisioned it would be. It was romantic, dreamy, relaxing, and carefree.
Gabby, Robert, and I met up on an early Saturday morning at Larz Anderson Park. If you haven’t been to Larz Anderson Park before, you should consider going there. It’s a stone’s throw away from Boston and is a beautiful reprieve from the hustle and bustle of the city.
When Gabby told me that she loves weeping willows, I knew we had to take her and Robert’s engagement photos at Larz Anderson Park. Weeping willows line a section of the 64-acre park which I knew she’d be all about! And in that same willow-lined area, is a charming water garden and a structure called the “Temple of Love.” We were obsessed with all of the photographic opportunities this one area provided!
While I don’t normally do morning engagement sessions, Gabby and Robert’s session reminded me why they’re a great option. The temperatures are always much cooler in the morning which is a godsend in late July. We also had the park almost completely to ourselves – that wouldn’t have been the case later in the evening. Both of those factors allowed us to be more intentional with our poses and locations, and it also gave us more time to get to know each other better.
Gabby and Robert’s Brookline MA engagement session at Larz Anderson Park was nothing short of breathtaking and the images we made together are, to date, some of my favorites that I’ve ever taken. I truly can’t wait to photograph their wedding at the Bedford Village Inn in Bedford, NH next summer!
