Rachel and Phil kicked off their wedding weekend with a nautical-inspired welcome party that perfectly captured the spirit of Newport, Rhode Island.

The festivities began with an intimate family rehearsal dinner at 22 Bowen’s Wine Bar & Grille, nestled on the historic waterfront. Before heading inside, we took a few couple portraits along the wharf. Rachel and Phil were stylish, elegant, and full of anticipation.

Following dinner, Rachel and Phil’s friends and extended family gathered at the Newport Marriott for a casual welcome party that embraced the couple’s love for each other. Leaning into the nautical charm of the seaside town, the event featured a palette of classic blues, whites, and soft pinks. Guests were treated to thoughtfully curated welcome bags, including the sweetest sailboat-shaped cookies that nodded to Phil’s passion for sailing.

Rachel looked stunning in a coastal-chic outfit that included cream-colored skinny pants and a ruffly top made from her mother’s wedding gown – a sentimental and stylish choice – and dainty pearls. Phil complemented her look perfectly in a sharp blue sports coat and khakis, leaning into their coastal color palette.
