Some weddings just overflow with joy, and Gabby and Robert’s New Hampshire wedding at Bedford Village Inn was exactly that – a heartfelt celebration of love, family, and a beautiful new chapter of their lives together.
Their summer day in late July was full of color, movement, and meaningful moments. Gabby and Robert envisioned a bright and airy celebration, one that felt natural and organic, with a soft wildflower-inspired palette of pastels, pinks, sunny yellows, and warm oranges. The florals by Primrose Florals were like something out of a storybook – abundant, textured, and full of life. Just wait til you see them!
Gabby and Robert both got ready on-site at the inn – Gabby in the light-filled bridal suite and Robert in a cozy, apartment-style room nearby. Gabby’s morning was full of sweet reveals: one with her dad, one with her bridal party, and of course, a first look with Robert that had everyone smiling behind the lens.
Gabby looked stunning in her Ines Di Santo gown from L’élite Bridal, and her glam, led by beauty mavens Maryelle Makeup and Preference Hair Salon, was timeless and glowy. Not to be outdone, Robert wore a classic look from Bonobos and looked every bit the handsome groom, while their adorable newborn daughter looked angelic with a lace gown and flower crown.
After their first look, and before the ceremony, we wandered the Bedford Village Inn grounds for portraits that felt relaxed, candid, and true to them. Gabby was very intentional about keeping the photography feeling natural and full of movement (something every choreographer loves to hear and I was happy to provide). She wanted to remember the energy of the day, not just the poses.
Their outdoor ceremony was the kind that stays with you – not just for how beautiful it looked, but for how deeply personal it felt. The floral arch created a stunning focal point, perfectly framing Gabby and Robert as they exchanged their vows. With their close friend officiating, every moment felt heartfelt and intimate.
One of the most memorable moments came when Robert shared a list Gabby had written as a teenager – a list of qualities she hoped her future husband would have. With charm, wit, and just the right dose of sass, he read the list aloud to their guests. And honestly? He didn’t just check every box, he exceeded them. In a sweet nod to Jewish tradition, the ceremony ended with a joyful smash of the glass. Mazel tov!
I’m a dweeb and I always look forward to seeing the wedding reception room once it’s fully setup! I’ve worked with Julie from Something Bleu before and knew the design was going to be good. But damn did she knock it out of the park!!
Like most weddings at Bedford Village Inn, the reception took place in the Great Hall. While the Hall usually feels pretty dark, the soft lighting and pastel florals brought the space, and Gabby and Robert’s joyful vision, to life.
From carefree parent dances to heartfelt toasts, the night unfolded beautifully. And when the dance floor opened? Gabby reemerged in a sparkly mini dress that turned every head and made it even easier to dance the night away. The party vibes kept going thanks to Night Shift Band, their live band, who kept everyone dancing into the night.
Gabby and Robert’s New Hampshire wedding was such a celebration of everything that matters most: love, family, and being fully present for each moment. From sweet family portraits with their baby girl (who is about to become a big sister later this year) to joyful dancing in the Great Hall, this wedding was full of heart and color in every way and a joy to document.
If you’re dreaming up your own colorful, heartfelt wedding in New Hampshire or elsewhere, I’d love to help you tell your story through photographs that feel like you.
