Looking through my parents’ heirloom wedding album not only gave me a glimpse into what life was like when they got married but the act of my parents sharing their photographs with me created an experience and a memory that I’ll never forget. That’s the power of heirloom wedding albums! That’s why it’s still so important to put your digital wedding photographs into a physical heirloom album. The one place my clients choose to spend extra money is on their wedding album!
Everyone loves the first 60 degree day after winter. Lauryn, Jacen, and I are no exception and we were overjoyed that it occurred on the same day as their engagement session!
To say that what we’re living through is insane is a huge understatement. In the matter of weeks, the world has all but come to a screeching stop and the fear and cacophony of news updates is more than any of us should have to endure. But…here we are… Brides and grooms, when I say […]
Everything about this styled shoot was magic. Ok, maybe not the car crash my second shooter and I were in that totaled my poor Jetta whilst on our way home from the shoot…but everything else was pure magic! Kelly, from Big Rock Creek, approached me about a year ago with the idea of putting together […]
When one plans a winter wedding in Minnesota, one usually expects to deal with the threat of snow and perhaps a blizzard. One does not expect to deal with rain, and certainly not rain that turns into 100% ice the morning of your wedding. Luckily, someone was watching over Haley and Erick’s wedding because everything […]
Bridal and groom detail photos – you love them, you need them, you gotta have them! This November I attended my first ever photography conference. I’ve attended workshops, retreats, and put together my own styled shoots but I’d never been to a conference before. Truth be told, I didn’t know there were such things for the photography industry. Those were things that business executives and people with “real jobs” attended…not something […]
Old timey castles, mist in the sky, and greenery as far as the eye can see. Sounds more like a description of a quaint wedding in Scotland rather than one just north of Minneapolis, MN but earlier this fall, Danielle and Peter’s Edinburgh USA Golf Course wedding in Brooklyn Park, MN felt like it was picked up and plunked down in the Scottish capital.
You said yes to the dress, you found the perfect shoes, and now you’re on the quest to find those oh so special bridal accessories. We’re talking earrings, necklaces, and bracelets – all of the items that will complete your wedding day look.
But you don’t want just any jewelry. You don’t want jewelry that a hundred other brides will wear on their weddings, right? You want bling that’s just as unique and one-of-a-kind as your ring and your dress. In other words, you want custom designed pieces, hand-crafted by individuals who care about you.
You’re in luck! Why? Because I’m sharing my personal favorite accessory vendors with you!
Ojiketa Regional Park, located outside of Forest Lake in Chisago City, MN, has a cute little camp perfect for outdoorsy, canoe loving people. It also is the home of Strom Hall, the venue for Jess and Hannah’s summer wedding.
And when I say camp, I’m not talking about the sleeping in tents type of camping you’d normally associate with regional park camping. Rather, there were clean cabins some with had actual showers!
