On a warm winter afternoon, Megan and Randy were wed at the Green Valley Ranch in Henderson, NV. It was the honor of my life to photograph my cousin’s wedding. It also didn’t hurt that I got to leave cold and snowy Minnesota in the middle of January for a weekend of warmth, both physically and emotionally. 😉

Megan and Randy are such a great pair. Their sharp wit makes the other laugh, they know how to balance each other out, and most importantly Randy is a great parent to Megan’s son. With a daughter of their own on the way (she was born March 28th! Congrats!) the two decided to tie the knot.

The day started pretty casually. Everyone was laid back, calm, and ready to celebrate. It had been a while since I had the chance to talk with my cousin properly and we didn’t let the opportunity to catch up slip by as we took her photos. I seriously had all of feels that day! Not only was I able to watch Megan prepare to marry the love of her life, but I also got to witness her being a mother. It was amazing!

I have so much love for this couple it’s really beyond description. I’ve known Megan for all but 5 months of my life (yes my dear cousin, while you will always be taller I will always be older lol). I feel utterly blessed to have been able to photograph her and Randy’s big day. Thank you so much for letting me share in your and your growing family’s joy!
