Morgan and Tyler’s Boston Arnold Arboretum couple portrait session is proof that when you have an expert photographer behind the camera and two trusting individuals, you can create a ton of romantic magic in 30 minutes.
It comes as no surprise when I say traffic in and out of Boston is unpredictable. Sometimes traffic moves relatively smoothly and while other times it adds an extra 30-60 minutes to your commute. Morgan and Tyler, unfortunately, experienced the latter on their way to their Boston Arnold Arboretum session.
Morgan, a talented photographer in her own right, knew we were in danger of losing sunlight and that we had a short window to work in. Thankfully, working efficiently is one of my superpowers. Once they arrived and had a moment to destress from the drive, we got cracking. The results? Romantic magic!!
It’s always fun to photograph other wedding photographers, especially ones whose work I admire. And while we all have different approaches to things like posing and editing, there’s always a mutual respect for each other’s artistry which adds an additional layer of fun to a portrait session.
Neither Morgan, Tyler, nor I had been to The Arnold Arboretum before. We looked it up online, loved the look of it, said “what the hell” and decided to check it out. And I’m so glad we did!
There were several pretty spots, all in close proximity to each other, inside the Arnold Arboretum, which is just south of Boston. We were short on time, so having many spots to choose from was a welcome surprise.
Working with Morgan and Tyler was such a joy! They’re a sweet, spicy, hot-as-hell couple and I can’t wait to become better friends with them!!
