So, picture this: Kasey and Cody’s summer wedding at Aldworth Manor – it was an absolute dream-come-true situation. Think major opulence, supreme sophistication, and sheer breathtaking beauty! And I got to be there, repping the fabulous Felisha Lees Photography who has become one of my best photography pals since moving to New England.

Aldworth Manor is a luxury wedding magnet. Seriously, this place has it all – cozy guest houses for the whole family and the entire wedding party. Plus, it has swanky, Old World-reminiscent rooms inside the manor for the couple to get ready.

My day kicked off hanging out with Cody and his crew in the manor’s library. The library, which is full of dark wood furniture and cool old books, was the perfect spot for the guys to relax and play cards before the festivities of the day began. Sounds super fancy, right? It was. Plus, they were able to grab a few choice drinks from the decadent bar down the hall.

On the flip side of the manor, in a massive, sun-drenched sitting room, fit for Afternoon Tea, was Kasey. With the help of her sister and Matron of Honor, Samantha, Kasey stepped into her drop-dead gorgeous wedding dress – it was a moment, let me tell you!

So, with Kasey and Cody both looking absolutely incredible, it was finally time for the big first-look reveal.

Cody turned around and bam! There was Kasey in all her bridal glory. They kissed, hugged, and looked each other up and down with huge smiles on their faces. And then Kasey squealed and let out a sigh of relief, saying, “I feel so much calmer now.” I tell you, first looks are the cure for any pre-wedding butterflies!

After we wrapped up their formal portrait part of the day, guests started showing up, soaking in the wedding vibe. With their family and wedding party in tow, Kasey and Cody moved inside to get ready for the main event – their wedding ceremony!!

As their guests mingled, they basked in the scenic beauty of Aldworth Manor before being seated, each guest clutching a charming fan, which created a palpable air of anticipation.

The overarching theme of Kasey and Cody’s wedding was “an ode to the grandeur of an Italian summer soiree.” And it was orchestrated to perfection by their planner, Jennifer of Memorable Events. Their bespoke cocktails, enchanting botanical arrangements, as well as a horse-drawn carriage combined to transport everyone to a lavish Tuscan garden party.

But here’s the thing, the best part of the day wasn’t just the decor and flawless execution of the wedding theme. But rather, the best part was the outpour of love Kasey and Cody’s guests showed them. Laughter, cheers, and heartfelt toasts echoed through the evening, proving how deep the love ran for this incredible couple.

I’ve been doing this for over a decade, and the joy of capturing these moments still fills me with gratitude. Being there for couples like Kasey and Cody? That’s a treasure, one I’ll cherish forever.
