Some weddings feel like they came straight out of a dream, and Tori and Mike’s Beverly Hills wedding was exactly that – a stylish dinner party meets heartfelt wedding day, filled with so much intention, laughter, and love.
Tori and Mike didn’t want a traditional wedding. They wanted an experience that felt like them – elevated, playful, chic, and meaningful. So instead of a ballroom or hotel, they rented a private, gated estate tucked into the California hills and they threw the most fabulous dinner party I’ve ever witnessed. It was the kind of wedding that felt both luxuriously laid-back and incredibly personal, which if you ask me, is perfect for Beverly Hills.
Tori wore a custom gold strapless gown by RMINE that was the quintessential reflection of her bold, modern style. It was sleek and unexpected and turned heads whenever she walked into a room. Not to be outdressed, Mike looked timeless in a baby blue Tom Ford suit.
They kept the ceremony short and sweet. Tori’s brothers provided the music and her uncle officiated their intimate ceremony. Arm in arm with her dad, Tori made her way down the aisle toward Mike, who stood waiting in front of a vibrant double floral arch – an artful, bold creation designed by Wild Posy.
After they said their I dos, Tori and Mike invited everyone to enjoy a fabulous cocktail hour followed by a five-star, chef-prepared dinner in the estate’s grand dining room.
Each course arrived perfectly plated on the cutest butterfly and striped tableware – seriously, I couldn’t get over it and wish I had had access to them when I was styling flat lays. Those kinds of personal decor choices made the whole dining experience feel extra unique. And the food! Guys! The food, prepared by their friend and professional chef out of Chicago, Chef Roger Herring, was to die for! Truly – I’m drooling just thinking about it now.
Going with the “untraditional” wedding theme, instead of having one big tired cake with frosting and the like, they had not one, but four explosion makes from the Flour Shop. If you’re not familiar with these cakes, go look them up. Each one is filled with rainbow sprinkles and edible confetti. (Watching their guests’ faces as they were cut open? Priceless.)
As the sun dipped behind the hills, the estate glowed with warm candlelight and laughter. With no strict timeline or a formal reception structure with open dancing, the night flowed like all the best kinds of dinner parties – relaxed, luxurious, and full of quality time with best friends. Tori and Mike’s was a Beverly Hills wedding done 100% and completely their way – unconventional and unforgettable – making it one I won’t soon forget!
