The snuggle-bugs that are Darcey and Keith are two of the most caring, warm, love-filled souls I’ve met in a long while.
The three of us met up at Fasika Restaurant, where they had their first date, then headed out to Como Regional Park.
I always squeal when I get invites and save the dates in the mail and I’m willing to bet that your guests do too.
But where to start when looking for a place to get yours printed?
It’s no secret that being in front of the camera can be hella awkward. I’ve been there. I get it. But it doesn’t have to be stressful at all.
Here are some tricks that I’ve discovered that have helped my couples, as well as my guy and me, shake off the “awkwardness” blanket and allowed us all to let out our inner goofballs and snuggle bears.
I know I say this about every couple I get to work with (and I mean it 100% of the time), but Kaylin and Connor are two of the sweetest, giggliest people in the world and I’m so lucky they chose me to be their wedding photographer!
After a snowstorm canceled Connor’s trip to MN, the three of us met up in late April in Minneapolis to take their must awaited engagement photos.
These two lovebirds are as spunky as they are sweet. Caroline and Garvin met at college where they were both theater majors (see? They’re my kind of people!).
Ashley and I have known each other since our elementary school days. We were always next to each other in the year book (alphabetically she was “Bai” and I was “Bak”). We shared many similarities aside from our last names too — we were both very studious (pretty sure she had better grades though), we were both involved with our high school’s publications (she was the yearbook editor in chief and I was the newspaper’s entertainment page editor), and we were both interested in making jewelry (she made MUCH nicer things than I did).
OMG! I absolutely love these two! Alexandra and Cameron seriously are one of the sweetest, kindest, and warmest couple’s I’ve ever met!
After rescheduling because of super frigid temps, the three of us met at Lebanon Hills Park on a very blustery winter afternoon. Is it just me or did this winter just DRAG ON AND ON?!
Thankfully, my winter blues melted away with Alexandra and Cameron’s giggles
Jessica and I have known each other since freshman year of college. We were both dance majors at the University of Minnesota and both had an affinity for The Daily’s crossword puzzles. Every lunch hour, we’d get a group together and try to solve them.
When I heard that Jessica had gotten engaged I knew it had to be to a very special guy. And that’s 100% Tim. He’s sweet, wonderful, caring, and completely loves Jessica!
It was another cold cold winter afternoon but Aliya and Taylor brought all of the warmth to their engagement session!
I can’t tell you how well they handled being outside in 0 degree weather…so well that we all went for hot toddy’s afterwards as a trea
This winter was pretty crazy. Lots of below zero temps and frigid mornings. The morning of Jen and Nick’s engagement session was one of those mornings. We’re talking -4 degrees but man…they were troopers.
Thankfully, the plan wasn’t to stay outside for long. Thank God! These two had the brilliant plan of taking their engagement photos at one of their favorite places — Hymie’s Vintage Records.
